How do employees benefit from Segmented Tracking?
Using Segmented Tracking, employees don’t need to worry about forgetting to track their time and mileage and punching in and out multiple times throughout the day. They only need to clock in once at the start of their day and clock out once at the end of their shift. Segmented Tracking automatically records the time and mileage they spend on each segment of their workday.
Can Segmented Tracking harm my employees’s privacy?
No. Timeero app captures employees’ location, routes, and mileage only while they are on the clock. The same principles apply to Segmented Tracking too.
How do visited locations show up on the timeline?
Segmented Tracking shows you the location and time of each stop your employees make during their workday. Depending on how you set up your account, it can display the visited site as an address or a job name. If you use Jobs, you can assign a specific name to a particular location. Timeero will recognize it whenever your employees visit it. If you don’t use jobs, or if your employees stop at a site that is not a job in your account, Timeero will show the location’s address instead. You can find detailed information in our Help Article.
Does Segmented Tracking work offline?
Segmented Tracking works offline as well as online. It can track your employees’ time and location even with low or no Internet connection. The app records the data from the moment your employees clock in and syncs it to the system when they have Internet access again. Segmented Tracking ensures you don’t miss any data, no matter where your employees work.
How can I activate Segmented Tracking?
Segmented Tracking is an add-on feature for our Pro, Premium & Enterprise Plan users. If you’re already subscribed to Timeero, you can activate Segmented Tracking by purchasing the feature from the Account & Billing page.
